Manage My Site
The
Manage my Site module is the main toolset for managing and customising your site look and feel and for building your site and entering content.
Content
Set site wide details and add images, files, etc to the media library. Library items can then be added and reused across your site.
Site Tree
To access and edit your site structure, content and page details choose a page from the site Tree.
Control panel

Click
Control panel to acces site wide settings including website administation password, contact email address, Site Name and Copyright notice. Also you can enter Options (one per line) for the contact/feedback page. These options will be displayed as a drop down list when users view the contact form.
Media library

The media library is a repository for media assets (files, images etc) that you want to use throughout your site. By uploading these assets to the library these assets can then be easily accessed and inserted when editing your pages.
To add a item select the item type , give it a name and click add.

Then browse to the file you wish to upload, add a label (eg: title of image) and click save.

When editing your pages you can access the media library by clicking the Media library icon (see picture).

Then simply click on the item you wish to add and it will be inserted into the content you are editing.
New Feature - Library Folders
You can now add folders to the media library and move items into folders to help you organise your media assets.
Click the media library link and enter a folder name and click add.
New Feature - Quick Upload
When navigating the media library from the editor you can now use the quick upload tool to add new items to the media library and automatically add to your current page.
New Feature - Support for Audio Video and Flash files
Audio (mp3) Video (flv, h.264) and Flash (swf) files can now be added to the media library and settings configured for their display.
Audio and Video files are added to a page with an embedded media player and Flash files are inserted with the flash embed tool.
Content

The content tab contains a listing of the editable content items available for the selected page. For the home page you can access the various content panels, the main body content and the logo image.
For Quick, Extranet Contact Us and Form Maker pages you can access the main body content. For all other page types you can create as many content items as you like. For example for pages of Type article you can create multiple articles items by entering an article item name and clicking add.
Click the
view button to access a content item.

From here you can click
Edit to change your content. If you have unpublished changes in the workspace you will be able to preview your changes by clicking preview and/or discard these changes by clicking discard.

In
Edit mode you can ajust your item content. This may consist of a Rich Text field in the case of Quick pages or multiple fields in the case of a product catalog item. Simply enter your content into the fields and click save. Some items have multiple image fields which can be ignored if you do not wish to use them.
When editing rich text the TinyMCE editor will load giving you easy access to WYSIWYG editing tools. Please refer to the manual section on the
Media library for instructions on inserting library items.
Once you have finished editing your item fields click save. You can now preview your changes, discard your changes or click
Publish to send your changes live.
For Mutiple item page types you can also set a publishing start and expiry date for each content item so that you can queue up content so your site will automatically change over time.

The
preview screen allows you to see your changes as they will be displayed on the site without sending your changes live.
New Feature - Code Insert
A new icon on the editor toolbar (3rd Row Page with Arrow on it) allows you to easily add code fragments like youtube or google maps embed code.
Simply click the icon and paste the embed fragment into the popup box and click insert.
Workspace

The workspace lists the content items that have been edited but have not yet been published. Workspace content can be reedited before publishing or all the changes can be discarded.
Structure

The
Structure tab allows you add and manage pages, their place in the website navigation and their position in the site tree.
Manage page details allows you update the page name, page title and the pages position in the website navigation. Also you can deactivate the page to quickly remove it from your site.
Change page parent and
Swap pages tools allow you to move the page with in the site tree.
Add a new page tool gives you the ability to add new pages as children of the current page. To add a new page select a page type, enter a page name, enter a page title and set the navigation options and click add.
Manage subpages gives you control over the ordering of child pages and allows you to delete pages.

The different page types allow you easily set up and control multiple web pages with advanced features.

SEO

The SEO tab allows you to fine tune your site for search engines by optimising your relevant site keywords, description and title text per page.
Options

The Options tab allows you to create categories for pages with multiple content items. Simply list the category titles (one per line) and click save. All the content items on this page can now be assigned to a category and a category selector will be added to the listing page on your website.
Form

The Form tab is only enabled on Form maker pages. To create a form click the form tab and add fields. select field a field type, name the field, add a label and click save. Confirm the options for this field and click save. You can reorder your form items withthe arrows in the listing and can delete form items.
If you make the form items compulsory the user will be alerted to the empty compulsory fields on submit.
The form page also has a content item for you to provide an explanation or instructions for your form and a Confirmation item for you to add text/instructions to the forms thankyou page.

The form is generated and displayed on your site as you build it.
All valid form entries are sent by email to the contact email address you configured on site set up.
New Feature - Data Collection
On some top end packages the form page now has a data Export and data Reset buttons that allows you to export the collected form entries into an cvs (excel readable) file.
The reset button empties the database of the stored form entries.
Design image

The Design tab allows you to update the main site images. You can update on the home page for site wide changes by browsing to a local image and clicking save. Please note: Images need to match the specified dimensions. If the image is larger than the dimensions it will be cropped to fit. Also you can customise these images for different sections of your site by uploading images on different pages. These updated images will be inherited by child pages.
Analytics
The Analytics tab gives you the power to insert analytics code fragments (eg google analytics, omniture, nielsen tags) to track the traffic on your site.
Simply insert the code fragment in the Analytics box on the home page and the code will be inserted on every page of the site.
You can also insert custom fragments at each page level if you want override the site wide tags.
Also on the home page you can add a conversion code tag for the ecommerce fulfillment page and on Form maker pages you can add conversion codes to the thankyou page.
Watermarking
Watermaking is the process of adding an identifier to an image. For example adding mydomain.com.au to the photos on my site so that if they are emailed around or reused elsewhere my site will get credit.
The watermarking tool is active on page types that have images (galleries, product catalogue etc) and allows you to set the Watermark text content, position, size, colour, font and style.
Watermarks can also be set at the content item level but the image will need to be reuploaded to be applied.
Extranet
The extranet page type allows you to create a restricted zone on your website and configure users and passwords for access.
Use the extranet tab to add and manage your users and passwords.
